

The PP Scrubber is an industrial waste gas/waste liquid purification device primarily made of polypropylene (abbreviated as PP). It is widely used in chemical engineering, electroplating, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, food processing and other fields, featuring core technical advantages of corrosion resistance, light weight and high efficiency.
Core Material Characteristics:
It can resist erosion by various corrosive media such as acids, alkalis and salts. It is particularly suitable for treating acidic waste gases containing sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides, hydrogen chloride, etc., or working conditions with alkaline scrubbing liquid circulation. It overcomes the defects of traditional carbon steel equipment (prone to rust) and glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) equipment (insufficient toughness).
With a density of only 0.90–0.91g/cm³, PP material is much lighter than carbon steel and FRP. The overall weight of the equipment is low, eliminating the need for complex load-bearing foundations. It can be installed vertically or assembled modularly, significantly reducing transportation and construction costs.
The normal operating temperature range is -10℃-80℃, meeting the requirements of most industrial normal-temperature scrubbing and purification processes. For handling high-temperature gases, modified PP materials (e.g., glass fiber reinforced PP) are available, which can raise the temperature resistance to around 100℃.
PP raw materials are easily accessible, making the equipment manufacturing cost lower than that of stainless steel and FRP alternatives. Its smooth surface prevents scaling, and daily maintenance only requires regular cleaning of the spray layer and fillers, with convenient replacement of accessories.


Adopting a unique tower body design, it enables full contact between waste gas, wastewater and purification liquid, increases the reaction area, and improves purification efficiency. The rational airflow distribution design prevents the occurrence of short-circuiting, ensuring that every stream of waste gas is thoroughly purified.
The interior of the scrubber adopts a scientific and reasonable structural design, including a spray system, packing layer, demisting layer, etc. The spray system can uniformly spray the purification liquid onto the packing layer to form a huge liquid film surface, allowing the waste gas to fully contact the purification liquid and improving purification efficiency. The demisting layer can effectively remove liquid droplets carried in the waste gas, ensuring that the discharged gas is dry and clean.
High-quality purification packing is selected, featuring a large specific surface area, high porosity, and low resistance. The liquid film formed on the surface of the packing can effectively adsorb and capture harmful substances in the waste gas, accelerate chemical reactions, and further enhance the purification effect.
When waste gas enters the scrubber, it undergoes chemical reactions with the downward-sprayed purification liquid, where harmful substances are absorbed, neutralized, or decomposed. After multi-stage purification treatment, the concentration of pollutants in the waste gas is significantly reduced, meeting the national emission standards.
Equipped with an advanced intelligent control system, it can monitor the operating parameters of the scrubber in real time, such as gas flow rate, liquid flow rate, and pressure. It can also automatically adjust the operating status according to actual conditions to ensure the equipment is always in optimal working condition, while facilitating remote monitoring and management for operators.
