FRP air ducts are lightweight, high‑strength, corrosion‑resistant non-metallic pipes. They are manufactured by winding glass fiber layers impregnated with resin matrix onto a rotating mandrel according to process requirements, with quartz sand evenly applied at intervals between the fiber layers to form a sand‑filled core. The pipe wall structure is scientifically designed and advanced, making full use of the material properties. While meeting the required strength, it enhances rigidity and ensures product stability and reliability.

Specifications and Dimensions

FRP air ducts are available in various shapes such as round and rectangular. Common sizes for round ducts include φ150mm, φ200mm, φ250mm, etc., with a minimum thickness ranging from 2.5mm to 8.0mm. Common sizes for rectangular ducts include 200×200mm, 250×200mm, 500×400mm, etc., with a minimum thickness ranging from 3.5mm to 11mm.

Lightweight yet High Strength: The weight of the pipe is only 1/4 that of ductile iron pipes and 1/10 that of cement pipes of the same specification and length, making transportation and handling convenient. Despite its light weight, its strength is sufficient to withstand high working pressure.

Strong Corrosion Resistance: It possesses excellent resistance to chemical corrosion, capable of withstanding attacks from acids, alkalis, and other chemical substances. It is suitable for long-term use in chemically corrosive environments.
