The FRP/GRP water storage tank is an industrial and civil water storage device made of fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP/GRP) as the core material through processes such as winding, hand lay-up and molding. With the combined advantages of corrosion resistance, lightweight design and high customizability, it can be used to store various types of water including drinking water, rainwater, reclaimed water and chemical production water. Widely applied in municipal water supply, agricultural irrigation, industrial production and wastewater treatment, it serves as a highly efficient alternative to traditional carbon steel and concrete water storage tanks.

Hygienic, Non-Toxic & Stable Water Quality

FRP water storage tanks made of food-grade resin feature smooth, non-porous inner walls. They do not breed bacteria, leach harmful substances, or contaminate water quality, making them suitable for direct drinking water storage and meeting hygiene standards of the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Superior Corrosion Resistance

The tank body is resistant to acids, alkalis, salt spray and oxidation, requiring no anti-corrosion coating. Even when storing water with slight impurities or being exposed outdoors for a long time, it will not rust or corrode, with a service life of 15–20 years.

Lightweight & Easy to Install

With a density only 1/4 that of carbon steel, it is much lighter than metal and concrete tanks of the same volume. No large hoisting equipment is needed; it can be transported as a whole or assembled on-site, reducing installation and transportation costs. Ideal for narrow spaces or roof installation.

High Customization Level

Volumes (from tens of liters to tens of thousands of cubic meters), shapes (vertical, horizontal, cylindrical) can be customized as needed. Accessories such as inlet/outlet ports, level gauges and manholes can be added. It supports underground installation or outdoor use (with anti-UV additives).

Low Maintenance Cost

No daily derusting or painting is required. Only regular inspections of interface tightness and tank appearance are needed. Maintenance is simple, and the long-term use cost is much lower than that of traditional water storage tanks.
