It features light weight, high strength, smooth inner wall, low flow resistance, no scaling and low thermal conductivity (0.39W/m·K). With excellent corrosion resistance, cold resistance down to -45℃ and service life over 30 years, it is factory-prefabricated for easy installation. Widely used in hot spring water, oilfield geothermal fluid, urban and industrial heating systems.

1. Product Introduction

FRP Insulation Pipe is a new type of three-layer composite thermal insulation pipeline. It uses filament-wound FRP pipe as the inner conveying pipe, rigid polyurethane foam as the middle insulation layer, and filament-wound FRP pipe as the external pressure-bearing protective layer. The whole product is prefabricated in the factory, which can greatly improve construction efficiency.


2. Product Characteristics

(1) Light weight and high strength, easy for transportation, installation and maintenance, no need for large hoisting equipment.

(2) Smooth inner surface with low fluid resistance, which can reduce pumping cost and keep smooth for a long time without scaling.

(3) Low thermal conductivity (0.39w/m·k), excellent thermal insulation performance, small temperature drop in long-distance heat medium transmission.

(4) Good corrosion resistance, service life can reach more than 30 years.

(5) The insulation layer is foamed and formed in the factory, which reduces on-site installation time.

(6) Polyurethane interlayer has good cold resistance down to -45℃, uniform load transmission, strong impact resistance and good adhesion with outer pipe.


3. Structure & Process

(1) Inner FRP pipe: designed according to medium, concentration, temperature and pressure.

(2) Middle layer: rigid polyurethane foam with low thermal conductivity (0.016~0.08kcal/m·h·℃).

(3) Outer FRP protective pipe: bears external pressure, anti-UV, anti-aging, low heat conductivity.


4. Process flow: Prefabrication → Assembly → Polyurethane foam injection → Post-treatment → Finishing → Inspection → Storage


5. Main Application

FRP Insulation Pipe is mainly used for hot spring water transmission, oilfield geothermal fluid transmission, urban central heating system, factory heat supply and other high-temperature or thermal medium conveying projects.
